Features

What your marketplace can do.

And what you get out of it. Twelve features for the three sides of your market and its technical foundation.

You get front end and back end: the pages where your customers search and buy, the portal for your sellers and the back office you run it all from. It handles goods with shipping and services with appointment booking.

01 · For your customers

Buying

Many sellers in one place: search, compare and buy in one cart.

Finds what is on offer

Full-text search across all offers, with filters built from your categories and attributes, suggestions as you type and “Did you mean …”. Plus recommendations on the product page and in the cart that learn from views and orders.

What you get

Even in a large range your customers quickly find the right offer and see what goes with it.

Shows who offers what

When several sellers offer the same product, the product page opens the cheapest offer and lets customers switch to the others. Every seller has their own page with logo, description and offers.

What you get

Prices and terms become comparable without anyone leaving your marketplace. And every seller gets their own shop window with you.

Buys everything in one cart

One cart for all sellers and one checkout, as a guest or with an account. Services are booked right alongside, with a date and a free time slot. The customer account lists every order; cancelling works until the seller starts fulfilment.

What you get

Buying from several sellers is as easy for your customers as in a single shop. Behind the scenes each seller gets an order of their own.

02 · For your sellers

Selling

A portal of their own, where sellers keep their range up to date and fulfil their orders.

Brings the range in

Offers with images, price, stock and the attributes of their category, with required fields checked. Larger ranges come as an Excel file: the AI suggests which column goes where, a preview shows the result on sample rows, and the mapping is kept for the next import.

What you get

Sellers bring their range along instead of typing it in, and it arrives in the structure you set.

Fulfils orders

Sellers work through their orders, start and finish fulfilment and confirm incoming payments. Stock is reserved when an order is placed; shipments can be split or combined, with a tracking number.

What you get

Fulfilment runs in one interface instead of e-mails and lists, and you can always see where an order stands.

Hands out appointments

For services, sellers maintain their resources, such as staff, rooms or equipment, with working hours and absences. External calendars block busy times. Appointments on request are accepted or declined by the seller.

What you get

Only what is really free can be booked, and sellers do not keep their appointments in two places.

03 · For you

Running

The back office where you set the rules of your market.

Sets the structure

A category tree, each category with its own attributes: free text, choice or multiple choice, with a unit, as a required field, inherited by subcategories. You turn the attributes into the search filters.

What you get

All offers are built the same way, whichever seller they come from, and your customers filter by what matters in your industry.

Lays down the rules

Shipping methods with fixed prices. Tax classes and rates per country, net or gross, with reverse charge for business customers in the EU. Who may buy on invoice, from which amount and from which country. Discounts as a percentage or an amount, on the cart, items or shipping, for a set period.

What you get

You set what costs what and how it is paid, without a developer.

Decides who takes part

You decide which details sellers and customers must give when they register. Where needed, you approve customers before they can order. Anyone working for several sellers switches between them with one login.

What you get

You set the terms under which people buy and sell with you.

04 · Front end and back end

Building on

What your marketplace runs on, and why the next step is not a fresh start.

Your look & feel

Colours, corners and spacing through a theme of your own, plus your logo. You build the home page, header and footer from blocks in the editor, with a live preview. The interface comes in German and English.

What you get

Your marketplace carries your brand, and you change content yourself without waiting for a release.

Is open through interfaces

Every module has a REST interface with OpenAPI documentation. Our customer frontend itself uses nothing but the public interface, so a frontend of your own can do the same.

What you get

A frontend of your own, an app or a connection to your systems all build on the same interfaces.

Grows with your model

Fulfilment sits in modules behind a common interface, today for shipping with stock and for appointment booking. Each offer decides which module applies, and one purchase can mix both.

What you get

When a new kind of fulfilment comes along, a module is added. The rest of your marketplace stays as it is.
